Veterans of the Arkham City world will appreciate the dark and stormy look of this newest game in the series. Rated T for Teen, Batman’s new and heavily armored look is surprising and incredible at the same time. This version of the classic Batman series offers gamers the ability to pilot Batman through the seedy underbelly of the city while you explore completely new areas and themes.

The game boasts modified controlling systems and content created exclusively for the Wii U platform, so the purchasing this version of Arkham City: Armored Edition is definitely a bonus to players who already own the game.

Enter Gotham City in the dark of the night as Batman, the vigilant crusader for justice. Although Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals are confined within the armored walls of Arkham, the maximum security prison for the criminally insane, Batman must fight this time to keep his identity a secret. Epic battles against criminals both familiar and new make this version of the Arkham series extremely entertaining to returning players. New gamers will appreciate the darkness of the game that really brings the brooding force of Batman to life. Whether you have played inside the walls of the Arkham Asylum previously or whether this is your very first visit, Arkham City: Armored Edition is an excellent way to get to know the craziness within the prison.

Earning its rating through some violence, tobacco use, and suggestive language, the Arkham City: Armored Edition is not a game for the young children in your home. Although Batman is the ever present hero, there are some deliciously dangerous villains to contend with in this version of the Batman franchise. Arkham games are known for their exceptionally cool music and attention to Gothic detail, and this game is no different. The new scores are thrilling, and they offer the perfect complement to the dark and dangerous Arkham backgrounds. Walking through the rain in Gotham City will send shivers up your spine, even if you are dressed as the Caped Crusader. Glancing over your shoulder for the bad guy becomes a habit in the Arkham games.

Returning villains in the game include The Joker, The Riddler, Two Face, and Catwoman, so the game is both familiar and transformed. New battle armor and the wrist-mounted Batcomputer are fun new items for the Armored Edition. The upgraded suits available for Batman and Catwoman allow for the buildup of kinetic energy, making these outfits shockingly fun to use in battle. Known for its mysterious story lines and dark graphics, the Arkham City: Armored Edition is well on its way to becoming a legendary addition to the Batman franchise.
